In this magical space called Heaven and Earth Retreats in Banks, OR, you’ll experience rich connection and rejuvenating offerings around mindfulness, nature, movement, creativity, and ritual.

Just 40 minutes from downtown Portland, this unique, intimate space feels MILES away — tucked away on five pristine, forested acres with stunning views. 

Return to your family, friends, co-workers, and clients relaxed and enlivened.

  • a hot tub comfortable for 4

  • 2 in-ground fire pits

  • an outdoor shower (love!!)

  • freshly prepared, organic, nutrient-dense snacks + meals (gluten free, sugar free (other than honey), largely dairy free (occasional butter or light aged cheeses), largely grain free (all grains are soaked, nuts and seeds are soaked and dehydrated), food restrictions are accommodated)

  • tempurpedic mattresses, high quality futons with lush mattress toppers. plush and luxurious bedding

  • meditation tent

  • numerous outdoor spaces for resting, talking, writing, being

  • close to the Banks Vernonia Trail

*Note: This space is a beautiful home that’s been converted to a retreat center. Therefore, the experience is more intimate than a hotel. There are 2 full bathrooms, a deluxe and tricked-out outdoor bathroom, and an outdoor shower. This is a space that “feels like being at a relative’s house, it’s cozy and clean, and so inviting and welcoming. I feel so taken care of by Ruthanne, her cooking, her nurturing style and the environment she’s designed. She’s thought of everything to make her guests feel completely at ease.”SC

Meet Sarah Clarke

Sarah is a Certified Professional Coach, as well as being a Certified Mind Body Eating Coach. In addition Sarah has an MBA, vast experience in yoga, dance and Authentic Movement. Sarah’s passion is living a life of service to humans and the planet we live on.
